Mildred May Greer

   Mildred May Greer, age 98, of Jenkins, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020.  She was born to the late William and Mary Sanders on May 31, 1921 in Jenkins, Kentucky.

      Mildred was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Oakie Greer; daughter, Barbara; granddaughter, Lisa and son-in-law, Tommy.

      Survivors include, three siblings:  Alford Sanders (Connie), Coleen Boggs and Wanda Wright; two daughters: Anna Brush and Saundra Greer; two sons: James Oakie Greer (Sondra) and William Greer (Marion); five grandchildren: Debra Ritchie (Jude), Jeffrey Mitchell, Steven Mitchell, Jeremy Greer (Jenny) and Jason Greer;  nine great grandchildren: William Ritchie, Luke Ritchie, Hanna Mitchell, Aidan Mitchell, Jessie Mitchell, Abby Mitchell, Connor Greer, McKinsey Greer and Madison Greer; one great-great granddaughter; along with a host of other family and many friends.

     Mildred was a member of the Pine Mountain Order of Eastern Star for sixty-three years.

      Visitation for Mrs. Greer will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Polly & Craft Funeral Home with an Order of Eastern Star service at 7:00 PM.

       Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 12 Noon, with Pastor Van Webb officiating.

    Interment will follow in the Greer Family Cemetery of East Jenkins, Kentucky.
